HP bought a company called Tabblo. They run a photo sharing/printing website by the same name. I saw the website a while ago, but didn’t pay too much attention to it, but now that it’s one my company’s products, I figured I should take a look. It’s pretty cool. I uploaded these 6 photos, and it placed them in this nice layout automatically. Then I just added a title and text, and I look like I know something about design and layout. I could have customized it myself, chosen different colors, and played with different effects if I wanted. Once you get the layout (also known as, the tabblo) all done you can order poster size prints, photo books, postcards, etc. of it (that’s the part HP likes, I believe they were using HP printers for these even before we bought them). Or you can post it to your blog, like so:

I like the tabblo's!! Just out of curiosity do you know if HP employees receive a discount at the site?

As far as I can tell about discounts, the answer is no. We don't get a standard discount at Snapfish either, but there have been a lot of employee-only gift certificates and specials handed out. I wouldn't be surprised if they start doing something like this for Tabblo. If I hear anything I'll let you know.

I posted a comment on VJ's blog asking him about snapfish integration and employee discount programs. He emailed me back and asked the Tabblo CEO (former of course) to respond. You should read the response!
