When we run out of milk I often don’t know because I am not a big milk drinker and I have been avoiding it because I think it irritates Davis when I drink it anyhow. Someone usually tells me we have run out and I try to go to the store to replenish it later in the day. Well, no one told me earlier in the week and we were out of milk come breakfast time. These kids cannot survive without cereal with milk for breakfast.
Being too tired and sleep-deprived to drive or to want to go out in cold, I opted to avoid the store and go for the back-up: POWDERED MILK, which we have in abundance. No one in their right mind actually likes to drink that stuff, but it works in a pinch.
I sent the kids out of the room so I could mix up some dry milk for their cereal and they would hopefully not notice. I told them I got the milk from the secret cow in the back yard. They believed me at first and then ate their cereal with it no problem. The rest of the week they have been trying to figure out where the secret cow is and Micah came up to me yesterday and said “I figured it out, it isn’t really a cow in the backyard. It is a goat.” So now we have a secret goat too that no one can see.

Does it allow you to magical creatures like in Fablehaven? It's the first thing I thought of when I saw your heading. :)

I think drinking it allows me to see the secret cow...
