In case you hadn’t heard, Ily is pregnant and due on June 29th. We had The Ultrasound today, and the anatomy was clear, it’s a boy. Isaac has declared that we will name him Jacques. We’re not so sure, but it sounds like a good fetal nickname to us. The full reality of having three little boys running and wrestling around the house is still sinking in. It should be fun, right? :-)

How about Benjamen? It has many possible variations ( Ben, Benji, etc) . I don't know its' meaning exactly, but "Ben" means Son ofin Hebrew, and I assume the rest is something really nice, like son of G-d, or Son of Righteousness. I just thought you might want to give a tribute to a "Third Testament" i.e. Book of Mormon name. I have a feeling that this little guy will have a voice loud enough to be heard from a city wall throughout the velley- especially at feeding time.

We really like that name, but so do a few other people in my family. I have two cousins named Benjamin, and a brother in law, so we've been trying to avoid it ourselves. I'm not sure I like your predictions about his future vocal capabilities, but my guess is you aren't too far off :-)

Just to keep everyone updated on the Great Name Debate for this boy, I will tell you about a conversation Ily, Isaac, and I had last night. We were batting around some name ideas (I can't even remember what most of them were). Ily would say, "How about _____ Murdock?" and Isaac and I would say, "We could do that," or "Mmmm, I don't like that," and then I would say, "What about _____ Murdock?" and they would say their yeahs or nays.
And then Isaac said, "How about Slay Murdock?" Blank stares from Ily and I. "You know, like Slay the Bad Guys Murdock." I guess he has been listening to us when we read the scriptures as a family.
And just to keep you fully updated, I should tell you that today Isaac suggested the name Chip. I don't know, it's kind of related to my job, it could work.
