Well, I didn’t quite get these done before Ily wrote about New Year’s, but they aren’t too late. Enjoy the pictures.

Tabblo: Micah's Shelf

Micah likes to cuddle up and burrow into tight spots.  He also likes to touch silky fabric.  The lining of his orange gym shorts is smooth and silky feeling.  Mom folds his clothes and puts them on this shelf in the laundry room until they are ready to be carried up stairs to the bedroom.

Put that all together, and you find Micah lounging like this on a quiet Sunday afternoon.

We almost got all the kids looking and everything in focus all at once.

This was taken at Isaac’s piano recital in December 2007.

Ily made a little nativity scene with a tootsie-roll Mary and a gumdrop Joseph.  She won the award for most creative.

Ily got an idea from Enrichment to have a simple “Journey to Bethlehem” dinner on Christmas Eve.  She made simple costumes that we wore while eating a simple meal on a blanket on the floor.  The meal was representative of what maybe Mary and Joseph would have eaten on their way to Bethlehem:  dried meat (jerkey), dried fruit (raisins, dried apricots), olives, and bread. ... We spent Christmas day at our house in Vancouver opening presents and putting them together, then drove to Kennewick the next day to visit with my family.  We all opened presents again when we got together and it was Christmas all over again. ... See my Tabblo>

It looks like you all had a fun holiday! I was reading through your "highlights" section and reliving a few good laughs over mousecapades and the screwdriver. I think when your kids get older, they'll have fun reading through them and reminiscing.

I'm glad you saw the highlights. If there are any other posts that anyone feels belong there please let me know!
