The hot water is back! My headache may go away now.

Bryan sat on the phone forever with the company who made the water heater and convinced them after a whole lot of paperwork shuffling and faxing that our water heater is still under warranty and that they would fix it. And then we had to wait almost a week for the plumber. Then he told what part was broken and that we needed to call the manufacturer ourselves and have them send me the part over night and then he would come fix it... I can see why Plumber Earl did not want to have anything to do with the manufacturer, they are such a pain to work with! I almost cried when it was all fixed and we actually got hot water out of our faucets again!

Two and a half weeks was too long. Thank goodness it finally got fixed.

For the record, Plumber Earl says to never buy anything except a Bradford water heater. We have a Rheem that GE stuck it's name on and he has nothing good to say about them or any other water heater for that matter. I have to admit I will discourage all my friends about GE water heaters from now on.
