Okay, there were several requests for the yummy granola that I am in love with. So here is the recipe:

Granola
3 c. old fashioned oats
2/3 c. sliced almonds (2 oz)
1 c. broken pecan pieces
¾ c. shredded sweetened coconut
¼ c. brown sugar
¼ c. maple syrup (real or imitation)
¼ c. vegetable oil
¾ tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 250*. In a large bowl combine oats, nuts, coconut and brown sugar. In a smaller bowl combine maple syrup, oil and salt. Add syrup mixture to oat mixture and combine well. Pour onto a large sheet pan 11×15-ish. Bake 45 to 60 minutes or until golden stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool then add any dried fruits or other additions you want! Store at room temperature in an airtight container. Note: We like to add cinnamon to this in the fall! YUM!!

Yum. Thanks for posting it. I'm going to try it. I bet it smells especially good when it's baking if you put in that cinnamon... Mmmm...
