"Meatball, I need you!"

Those are the words spoken tonight at dinner by Reece, our two year old. He has mastered using a fork. What good manners. He has mastered using a spoon. What good manners. He has learned how to be mostly polite, but he still lacks the skills of eating with his mouth closed and not talking with his mouth full. Not so good manners.

So he was talking very loudly (we are convinced he will be a cheerleader when he grows up because of his ability to speak with so much excitement) with meatballs in his mouth when oops, out one came. Yuck, except very funny when he says “Meatball I need you!” right after. All night he has been yelling “meatball”... pronounced “he-ball”... It has been a very loud dinner. Who knew serving meatballs would be so entertaining for the family?
